The first edition of ACREC Review 2020 has already been published on the Center’s website!

We are pleased to announce that the first edition of ACREC Review 2020 has been published at the Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center website! This time, the issue is devoted to corruption risks in the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre. The document was entitled “Expert (external) assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the State Geocadastre of Ukraine.”

Indeed, the formation of effective anti-corruption programs requires ensuring the process of objective assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the government by involving members of the public and external experts (hereinafter – experts) who have theoretical and practical knowledge of the external and internal environment of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre. That is why the purpose of the issue was to improve the process of preparation of the Anti-Corruption Program of the State Geocadastre of Ukraine by identifying corruption risks and formulating measures to eliminate them. Particular attention is paid to ensuring an objective assessment of corruption risks and the development of effective anti-corruption measures to eliminate (minimize) the conditions and causes of these risks.

It will be recalled that ACREC Review is a periodical of the NaUKMA the Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center which is an analytical product based on scientific, practice-oriented research in the field of corruption prevention.

The key purpose of this publication is to provide an opportunity to publish their research to young and promising researchers looking for alternative approaches to understanding and identifying corruption and ways to combat it, as well as to strengthen the analytical component of research in this area of knowledge.
