On October 21st, a lecture-discussion took place with the involvement of well-known public figures, journalists and members of the Verkhovna Rada Mustafa Nayyem and Serhii Leshchenko.
This event was organized by the civil society organization “Youth Against Corruption” and the Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center (ACREC) of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
It also involved the heads of student self-government bodies and trade unions from different regions of Ukraine.
According to organizers, the main purpose of the event was to raise the interest and involvement of students in the process of combating corruption in higher education and the country as a whole.
The participants learned about the budget monitoring tools for higher education, public registers and anti-corruption cases.
In the end, everyone agreed that combating corruption should become a national idea in Ukraine that would lead to a sustainable economic development and national evolvement.
