Education and awareness-raising are among the key goals of ACREC’s work.
Last year, Anti-Corruption Research & Education Center’s team developed and launched a unique educational program ‘Corruption Prevention in Reconstruction Projects.’ Its goal was to provide professional training for anti-corruption officers who directly oversee processes related to Ukraine’s reconstruction and work in government agencies with high corruption risks (such as customs, seaports, government councils, etc.).
The program consisted of the following modules:
- Corruption prevention in public procurement processes within reconstruction projects
- Principles of corruption risks management in reconstruction projects: best practices and practical advice
- Legal regulation of the whistleblowing institution in the context of authorized individuals’ work in infrastructure projects
- Legal principles and institutional mechanisms for corruption prevention in Ukraine
