The certificate program “Corruption Prevention in Reconstruction Projects” is the first educational program in Ukraine aimed at the professional development of officials, providing participants with tools for building transparent infrastructure projects within the processes of Ukraine’s recovery.

Why our program?
The Certificate Program is implemented by Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center (ACREC) at National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” in collaboration with the Basel Institute on Governance. This program is being implemented within the framework of USAID_Взаємодія project and was possible thanks to the support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The content of this program is the sole responsibility of the grantee organization and does not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the United States Government.
What will be studied in the program?
The educational process incorporates a mix of modern technologies, interactive teaching principles, and a personalized approach to each participant.
Those eager to acquire anti-corruption skills will:
- Participate in lecture-discussions and role-playing games.
- Work in small groups on case studies.
- Develop course projects with the help from foreign experts.
The disciplines that are studied in the program help participants gain fundamental knowledge in the infrastructure field. The practical part of the program assists in developing skills in:
- Project management.
- Application of tools for reducing corruption risks by authorized persons in prevention and detection of corruption.
- Financial management.
- Monitoring and evaluation of projects.
- Application of international standards and best anti-corruption practices.
- Development of internal policies, procedures for prevention, and counteraction to corruption.
- Conducting corruption risk assessments.
- Conducting internal investigations.
- Working with whistleblowers.
