On September 13, the international anti-corruption online course “The United Nations Convention against Corruption: Global Corruption, Good Governance, Ukraine and the United States” launched with the assistance of Washington and Lee University, Virginia, USA.
As part of this course, students will be able to master the basic knowledge of mechanisms for preventing and counteracting corruption, both at the national and international levels; skills and abilities of analysis and application of anti-corruption legislation; investigate international experience in the fight against corruption and practical aspects of its application.
The lecture is read by Professor Thomas H. Speedy Rice, who actively cooperates with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and is a recognized expert in the areas of access to justice and anti-corruption practices.
The International Anti-Corruption Online Course “The United Nations Convention against Corruption: Global Corruption, Good Governance, Ukraine and the United States” is an online training course for law students interested in studying the issues of preventing corruption. It is being implemented in six law schools of Ukraine: National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, National University “Odessa Law Academy”, National University “Ostroh Academy”, National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise, Poltava Law Institute, Chernivtsi National University named after Yuri Fedkovich.
The course is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Justice Justice Reform Program “New Justice”.
