The periodical edition of the Anti-Corruption Research and Education Center, called “ACREC Review”, has already been launched and is freely available!
The first issue of the publication is dedicated to one of the specialized anti-corruption bodies, which, during its short existence, received almost the most criticism, and its political interpenetration and ineffectiveness gained wide consensus among experts and among ordinary citizens.
Indeed, it will be about National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and ways of reforming it!
So, we bring to your attention the article “How to improve the effectiveness of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption”, which passed an external review and was recognized as worthy to open an “ACREC Review” and be published in the first issue of the series!
In this paper, you will not only learn about international standards in the field of anti-corruption institutions, specific reasons and preconditions for the creation of a separate preventive anti-corruption body in Ukraine and the current state of the NAPC, but will also get acquainted with recommendations on alternatives to state and anti-corruption policies that may affect quality performance indicators of this body.
