We announce the enrollment on the online course “The United Nations Convention against Corruption: Global Corruption, Good Governance, Ukraine and the United States” in 2018
“The United Nations Convention against Corruption: Global Corruption, Good Governance, Ukraine and the United States” is an on-line educational course for law students interested in studying issues related to the prevention of corruption. As part of this course, students will be able to get basic knowledge of mechanisms for preventing and counteracting corruption, both nationally and internationally; to acquire skills and abilities of analysis and application of anti-corruption legislation; to explore the international experience in the fight against corruption and practical aspects of its application in national realities.
The session is run by Professor Thomas H. Speedy Rice, who is actively involved in the activity of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and is an expert in the areas of access to justice and anti-corruption practices.

To get the certificate of completing this course, it is necessary:
– To attend 70% of lessons;
– To resolve the tasks envisaged within the course.
Start of the program: September 13, 2018
Duration of the program: one semester.
Working language of the course: English.
Location: National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Kyiv.
Schedule: Thursdays from 15:00 to 17:00.
Tuition fee: the course is free.

The international anti-corruption online course “The United Nations Convention against Corruption: Global Corruption, Good Governance, Ukraine and the United States” is a joint project that is being implemented in six ukrainian law schools: National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, National University “Odessa Law Academy”, National University of Ostroh Academy, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Poltava Law Institute, Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University .
