Oksana Huss is a researcher in political science at Bologna University, Italy. She defended her PhD on political corruption in hybrid regimes at the Institute for Development and Peace, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany and conducted a post-doctoral research on bottom-up anti-corruption activities of the civil society across Ukraine at Leiden University, Netherlands. Further focus of her academic work includes economic elites, role of ICTs and open government in anti-corruption. As a lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Kyiv School of Economics, she teaches courses on interdisciplinary methods and theories of corruption research as well as on research design. Oksana has also provided consultancy on anti-corruption and open government to the Council of Europe, EU, UNESCO and UNODC. Oksana is a co-founder of the Interdisciplinary Corruption Research Network (ICRNetwork.org).
