Anti-Corruption Research and Education Centre in partnership with the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP), invites you to participate in the 5th annual conference, “Whistleblowers in Ukraine: Successes and Challenges”.
This year’s conference will serve as a platform for expert discussion on the development of the whistleblower protection system in the context of European integration, legislative updates and improving institutional effectiveness in this area.
The event will feature four panel discussions covering the following topics:
- Year in review: positive developments, negative trends and a roadmap for the coming year.
- European and Euro-Atlantic integration and legislative priorities: an analysis of the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards and a discussion of the prospects for adopting a comprehensive law on the protection of whistleblowers, as well as the protection of military personnel and the specifics of reports containing restricted information.
- Effectiveness of institutions and safeguards: analysis of the free legal aid system and discussion of innovative mechanisms for providing psychological support to whistleblowers.
- Open dialogue: a live Q&A session with whistleblowers, anti-corruption officers and lawyers.
Participants at the conference include international and national experts in the field of whistleblower protection, representatives of government bodies, as well as special representatives for the prevention of corruption and compliance managers.

Registration will remain open until 16:00 on 4 November. Details regarding the venue will be sent to accredited media representatives at a later date.
